1st Cheshunt Scout group are the oldest group in District and benefit from a new purpose built building which was completed in 2016 after years of fundraising.
1st Cheshunt Scout group are the oldest group in District and benefit from a new purpose built building which was completed in 2016 after years of fundraising.
The group has about 95 young members ranging from the age of 5 ¾ to 14 ½. Beavers stated in 1986 and 1st Cheshunt opened its coloney in 1987, the group has two thriving cub packs and Scout Troop.
The group is open to both boy and girls.
Each section has a healthy attendance:
Monday Beavers 6.15pm – 7.30pm
Wednesday Badgers 6.15pm – 7.45pm
Thursday Stags 6.30pm – 8pm
Wednesday Scouts 8pm to 9.30pm
An explorer, adventurer and TV presenter, Dwayne's been seen in BAFTA nominated Channel 5 series Race to the Pole, on BBC Springwatch, Countryfile, National Geographic and Disney+.
